Music and the arts are a big part of life at Community Church. Whether it’s a Bach cantata, an African spiritual, a story in water color or a song about the delights of a spring morning, our organist, choirs, and talented musicians and artists lift our spirits, soothe our troubled hearts, and unite us in our
commitment to reach out to others and be God’s presence in our world. No matter if you are a trained musician, an artist-in the making, or a simply a music and arts lover, there is a place for you.  Some of the ways you can participate include:

Each year we sponsor several area music groups by furnishing meeting space at a reduced cost.  The groups give concerts at the Church during the year.

Throughout the year, we host art exhibits. Members and friends contribute photos, paintings, and other types of art they have created related to a particular theme. Other times we invite people to share their poetry and other artistic talents at special events. To learn more, check out the current exhibit in the Mezzanine.
