C ommunity Church is a place where EVERYONE is welcome!  Male or female; young or old; able-bodied or feeling weary, lonely or filled to the brim, longtime church goers or spiritual seekers who aren’t sure about faith, God welcomes all and so do we. Whoever you are and wherever you are in life’s journey we invite you to participate with us as we cultivate a community that nourishes body and spirit, provides and enhances friendships, engages in meaningful activity, and offers a joyful sense of belonging.  Please come see what is here for you!

Fun, food and fellowship!  Groups of 9 guests are formed including singles, couples and families!!  Groups meet throughout the year alternating homes, with most groups meeting 4-5 times. The host provides the main course, with guests providing side dishes and desserts.

Known as the Pathfinders, this group is open to any Middle School child in grades 6-8.  In addition to fun and fellowship, members explore spiritual issues and perform community service work.

When

This group generally during Sunday School time on the 1st Sunday of each month, with an additional outside activity planned once/month.

A program of fellowship and service activities for those in grades 9-12.

When

Our high schoolers generally meet with an activity once each month.  Recent activities have included hiking at the Flume Gorge and rock climbing at the Dover Climbing Gym.

The Men’s Fellowship group meets twice each month for exploration of issues related to spirituality, as well as other topics of interest.

If you love to knit or would like to learn how, check out the Knitting for Peace group.  This group gets together to knit and enjoy each other’s company once a week.  Some of our projects include: making blankets that are distributed to families in need; peace dolls; prayer shawls for those going through hard times; and baptismal blankets for every baby christened in our church.

When

Tuesdays from 1-2:30 in the Parlor.

Women of the church meet for Bible or Book Study with Pastor Mary, using resource materials that change each year.

When

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on the second Wednesday of every month in the Parlor, followed by a brown-bag lunch.
