300th Anniversary!

It’s an exciting time in the life our church, marking 300 years as a faith community dedicated to a Christian heritage that is ever evolving. There are several wonderful upcoming opportunities to celebrate this heritage. Let’s celebrate this history by including and involving all ages. Here is what we have planned. If you are interested in getting involved with a specific event, please feel free to reach out to the contact person involved with that activity. Volunteers are needed and welcome!!

Birthday Party!!! All Church Picnic June 24th, 3-6pm at Thompson Farm Inn. Come for a wonderful afternoon with food and activities to celebrate our 300 years as a faith community. Contact: Sooty Tanquay – tanquay21@comcast.net

Tricentennial Sunday Service: September 23, 2018 A service to celebrate our history. Former members and pastors will be invited to this service. Contact: Carla Wilson – carlaw@comcast.net

Historical Pageant: October Date TBA Our history will come alive as we travel through 3 centuries to recognize significant points in our faith community. Contact: Doug Wheeler – douglaslwheeler@gmail.com

300 Cranes: Wishes for the Next Century A project of the 2018 Confirmation Class, as we usher in a new century, each crane will have a message of a hope or dream for our next century as a church Contact: Kristin Forselius – kristinf@ccdurham.org
